From time to time, I love to go through the old travel pictures and remember the places I’ve visited. As I was doing this a couple days ago, I found some heartwarming shots from Lisbon. I’ve been there five years ago when my best friend was studying in that lovely city. Those pictures were too enchanting not to be shared with you so here they are, the postcards from gorgeous Lisbon…
Those pictures were like postcards I’ve sent myself a long time ago and received them only now. It was such a pleasure to go back to those narrow streets on Lisbon, to remember the aroma of well-made espresso, to see all that laundry hanging everywhere, and simply recover all those memories I had.
Lisbon is definitely one of the most beautiful cities I’ve ever seen. A charming old town, bright houses with red rooftops, stairs everywhere, lots of squares and viewpoints to the city, and the ocean. Oh, and the end of the main street, leading to the ocean, is magical… Lisbon is a city everyone should visit at least once in a lifetime.
I’m so glad I found these pictures. They brought back all the memories of this charming city. Guess the saying “Collect memories, not things” could be edited a little bit and an ending “(but collect pictures)” could be added. Memories fade away but pictures help them stay with us forever. Oh, and if you haven’t been to Lisbon yet, maybe it’s time for a little adventure in this wonderful city?
