DIY Coffee and Coconut Oil Body Scrub

I just love do things myself and one of them is skincare products! This is why I would like to share with you the recipe of marvellous body scrub with coffee and coconut oil. To do it you will need only a few ingredients and you will feel like in heaven after using it!

Skin is the largest organ of the body which is being affected by factors such as sunlight, air pollution, diet, stress and many others so it is a must to take care of it if you want it to be healthy and radiant. Also, because our skin absorbs what is on it, it

is often said that if you can not eat it, do not put it on your skin. To stick to this rule blindly would be quite difficult but it essential to read the ingredients list of your skincare products and avoid the ones that might harm your skin. The products I put into my bath or onto my skin I would not eat but they are very pure and nourishing and non-toxic.

Meanwhile, the body scrub I want to share with you is 100 % eatable so you can use it without any doubts! It contains four ingredients: coconut oil, sugar, coffee and cinnamon.

Coconut Oil

You must have heard that coconut oil provides endless benefits to your health, whether in your food or on your body. It is a miraculous treatment for hair, and a splendid moisturiser for your skin because it easily seeps into the skin pores, moisturising deeply and thoroughly.

Speaking of sugar, it is used in many scrubs because the granule is round and therefore doesn’t have any ability to β€œcut” the skin. It’s a far better choice compared to salt for sensitive skin types and the only choice for the face. Sugar granules dissolve quite easily in hot water and make your skin soft and smooth!

Not only coffee is great for waking you up but also is extremely beneficial for your skin. As well as sugar, coffee is a wonderful exfoliator, rubbing the grounds on your skin will remove dead skin cells and leave you with smoother skin. Besides, caffeine is a known diuretic and can banish cellulite when applied topically.

Cinnamon is used in skincare products mostly because of blood stimulation. This means that using cinnamon can stimulate blood vessels and bring blood to the surface of the skin. Also, cinnamon extracts and powder act as very good exfoliants and can be used to remove dead skin cells. This helps to restore the shine and suppleness of skin.

All those four ingredients combined together make a superb body scrub!

Are you ready to make this splendid body scrub and try it out? Wait no longer, here is the recipe!
