It’s the happy day!

Today is my birthday, 25th birthday. And today I’m incredibly happy.

Each year before birthday I expect myself to be all smart and wishful. I like to look back and evaluate what lessons I’ve learnt, what I did good or bad, and to make future plans. However, this year I really struggled at getting myself into this kind of mood and up until last night I thought I won’t be able to do this.

Last night, when I sat down with a piece of paper, a pen and a cup of tea, the question that I wrote down was what kind of person do I want to be? So instead of thinking about these life lessons, I thought deeply of the person I am and what I’d like to change.

Four things. Four things that I want in my life in order to become the best version of myself.

I want to be happy and do what I truly enjoy.

I want to be honest with myself and others.

I want to dare to be myself, always.

I want to confident and believe in myself.

Seems pretty possible, right? That’s why I’ll do my best to stick to them and to be the person I want to be.

But that’s not all I wanted to share. Yesterday I also understood that quite a lot of people live around 75 years and this means that 1/3 of my life probably already passed. And those days will never come back. That’s why I need to take most of the time I have left and live my best life, enjoying the charms of daily life, being my true self and consciously choosing what’s worth my time.

Thank you for reading and for being here with me, it truly means a lot!
