Oh, I love surprises and handmade accessories! So when my boyfriend made a surprise and gave me a tiny box of Freaky Foxx I was more than happy. This got me thinking that it’s all about the little things in life. It’s all about acts of kindness, love and attention that make our lives full of joy.
Surprise Surprise!
So it happened on one ordinary day, in the middle of the week, when I was at work. My love texted me and asked what I was doing. That’s not a kind of question he asks often so I found this a bit weird and asked whether I should come somewhere. Even a joke like this made my heart beat faster and I hoped that maybe there’s a chance he came to see me. We see each other every day but I always enjoy his company and hoped maybe we could have lunch together or go for a walk. But he was supposed to work so there wasn’t a high chance of him coming to see me.
To my surprise, he actually was waiting outside! And he also had a white paper bag with him. He took a tiny white box from it and gave to me. It was a box of Freaky Foxx. A pair of lovely, handcrafted porcelain earrings was inside. I fell in love with those beautiful pieces right away!
The earrings were so gorgeous and so rustic at the same time. That deep blue color looked wonderful and the golden details on top of it complemented it perfectly. They were a true piece of art. So tiny but so lovely!
The Little Things
This nice surprise made me think about what makes us happy and what makes our lives full of unforgettable moments. And I realized that it’s all about the little things.
First of all, because those lovely earrings are made with love and passion. They’re so precise and enchanting that you can feel all the love of people who made them. They’re nothing like I’ve seen before and it’s obvious, that Freaky Foxx team is doing what they enjoy most – creating lovely pieces full of love. Also, it’s all about the little things because whatever it is that we do, we all have our own routine. Because of it, life seems pretty similar from day to day and only unexpected things stuck with us and make some moments unforgettable. And lastly, it’s acts of love and kindness that make us appreciate what we have and to do that consciously.
The life is made of simple things and this day made me incredibly happy. From now on, whenever I’ll be wearing those charming Freaky Foxx earrings, I’ll remember how important all the little things are. Besides, it doesn’t take much to make someone’s day extraordinary so I’ll do my best not to forget this and to make more pleasant surprises myself as well.
