Winter is officially over but the weather out there is still pretty cold and harsh. That’s why I want to share with you how I take care of my hands and lips during the winter-spring transition and keep them soft and smooth no matter what weather outside is!
No Skip-Days Allowed
Obviously, we must take care of our skin every day but extra attention needs to be paid to the most sensitive parts, especially when they’re exposed to unpleasant weather. When it’s cold and humid outside, I know that I must take care of my lips and hands as they’re the most sensitive parts of my body. I really tried to use lip balms and creams every day but it’s so hard to remember this once skin is just the way I want it to be. A couple cold evenings without hand cream and gloves, a couple others without a proper lip balm and here I was, with rough hands and chapped lips again…
Please, Please, Be Okay!
When my lips are ruined, I know that only mixture of shea butter and other natural ingredients can make them soft again. My lips easily get irritated with artificial ingredients so I always look for completely natural lip care products. My favorite one is PoaPoa Lip Balm with just three ingredients – shea butter, coconut oil and beeswax. Super simple but magical combination!
Meanwhile, when it comes to taking care of my hands, I don’t have one favorite hand cream. However, I prefer the ones with natural ingredients and a nice but not too strong smell, preferably quite unique. So when the skin of my hands was damaged by the harsh weather this time, I got myself a new hand cream to heal them. It’s “GreenLand” hand cream which is based on natural ingredients and smells like papaya and lemon.
It took just a few days to heal my lips and hands. Actually, they’re even softer and smoother than ever before! “PoaPoa” lip balm is definitely my favorite one but “Greenland” hand cream was a pleasant surprise. Gladly, now everything is all good thanks to natural skincare and I can enjoy my hands and lips again.
